New kid on the block

My name is bobby, some of you may know me as "ilovemyboaconstricto" from youtube. I have always loved tarantulas and used to have a C. fasciatum and a P. murinus, but my mom found out and said I can't have Tarantulas because they scare her, which is retarted but whatever, i hope i can convince her to let me get into them cause they really are one of my biggest interest.
Well i figured i would just introduce myself.

my only suggestion for you is to do ALLOT of research and print off all the proof you can about tarantulas
i did that when i was 9 and it worked

I found out by Dan on youtube DansBallPythons, and i tried to show my mom all this stuff
but the problem was she found out about them then called her friend from her work and asked him about them
and he was telling her that the P. murinus is very dangerous and the C. fasciatum is also dangerous, and that they are
terrible pets and not suitable for me that i should get something like a G. rosea because of my age (im 15). Then he tried to say he
would trade me a rose hair for the my 2 spiders, and i wouldn't do it so my mom just took them and gave them to him.

Sounds like he just wanted to get a few nice T's for free. Although a OBT really isn't a starter T. They can be aggressive.

I know they arn't, i had the C.fasciatum for about 5 months before i got the OBT and i had 2 Rose hairs before that but gave them away cause they were boring and i wanted more of a challenge.

Welcome. It sucks that really unfortunate to have a parent who won't let you. No different than any other pet if you freaking ask me >.>. I had to beg my father to get on at his house. Just do alot of kissing up and begging and give them information. Maybe they will understand as much as we do one day. I have a rose hair and about to get a Payson Blonde hopefully with a few OBT slings. So I'm really excited.

Well what i dont get is, i have snakes, lizards, frogs, had turtles, scorpions, centipedes and all other stuff but she said she hates spiders, but i feel it is the same as all those other thinks, and actually a lot less maintenece is needed for them

Hey revolt, you do realize I have a female fasciatum I'm selling????
