| I feel like a really bad T owner right now. I went to ship out a box of bean weevils today, and I save all my boxes that I get in so I can reuse them for sending stuff out. Well I picked my smallest box and it was filled with foam packing things and lots of shredded newspaper. So I had to take a bunch of it out so I could get the deli cup inside the box, when doing this I came accost a vial that had dirt in it inside the box.
I didn't think much of it and I just tossed the vial onto my bed, thinking it had to be empty since it was in the box, and the box was in the basement. Well after I packed up my box I went back to the vial laying on my bed. I looked at the side of the vial, and there was a TINY sling INSIDE the vial, now under dirt!!!
I was freaking out, and got the little one uncovered. On the cap it had the initials BV, the only think I can think of that I have is B. vagans. Now I got in all my B. vagan slings at the same time when I got like 30 of them at once, I think it was Paul who was having a sale of them. The sling is MAYBE 1/4" and it had to have been in the basement for at least 2 months, all my other slings have molted twice since I got them in, and the hand writing on the cap matches to the writing on another vial from that shipment that was empty.
So this poor little sling has had no food or water for at least 2 months and in a cool basement, it's pretty darn cold down there. I tossed in a weevil and it took the sling a few seconds to realize there was food and it was quickly over for the weevil.
Weird thing is, all the B. vagan slings I got in that order were all together in a deli cup with paper towel. Except for the 1.5" freebie that came with them, which is the vial I compared the hand writing to. Only other thing I got in that shipment, were 3 blue fangs. So I have NO CLUE how this could have happened. Anything I've ever got shipped in, was packed in paper towels, only thing I can think of is, maybe some how when packing the vial was knocked into the box and had the shredded paper on top of it and it went un-noticed. Needless to day, I went through ALL my other boxes and checked them for remaining vials, and from now on I will be sure to take EVERYTHING out of the box when I get in a shipment. | |

| I know, that's what has me so confused. And all that time and it's abdomen was still a bit plump for it's small size, I'm sure it will have a big booty after it finishes that weevil I gave it. It sure was chowing down. | |

| Yes indeed, this little one has molted, just fine and ate all it could eat and has now stopped eating, gearing up for another molt. | |
