| Got some great new additions to my little T family today, thanks goes out to madamwlf! Got a long sought after RCF G. rosea female (4-4.5") and two A. versicolor slings (1/2"-3/4"). Once again, my wife Angie...done an awesome job unpacking and managing the T's. She's not into T's as much as we are, but she is learning how to unpack and corral them into new enclosures very well. The rosea didnt giver her any trouble like I thought it would (madamwlf warned me she was ornery), but the versi slings were ready to run the instant she opened them up. She said both of them ran up her arm before she could wrangle them. LOL! Anyway, three beautiful fuzzy additions to the family, thanks madamwlf!!! They are awesome!!! And, once again I have to appologize for not having any pics to post, maybe we can remedy that this weekend if I can find another digital cam. | |

| Oooooh lucky! I want a Venezuelan Suntiger more then I want anything right now. Sling, no sling. They are too beautiful! I found some for a good price, but right now Mum can't afford it seeing as she just got surgery on her hand for a brown recluse bite:!: It'll be a couple of months before she can afford anything, and I can't find a job here. I ENVY YOU. With a passion. Have fun with them | |

So sorry to hear that. It must have been bad. My fiance got bit on the knee. It only turned red really bad and she had to get antibiotics. I have also heard of steroid shots being used but have never known anyone who had that bad of a bite. How long after the bite before medical attention was sought? Did it begin to eat away the skin? We have a huge abundance of these were I Iive. And to MichealH congrats on the new stuff. I hope to see pics. I've gotten several new things myself I need to get pics of.

Shes a dog groomer and it was so bad she had to miss work, and then went to the doctor for it. All the tissue under the skin was dissolved, and one of her nerves was just dangling there. scary image.

| great new additions Micheal, look forward to seeing pics of those and spiduh, I am sorry to hear about your mum, I think it is one of my greatest fears being bitten, I was rehousing my parahybana the past weekend, and using a soft paint brush to edge it into the moving pot, he wrangled the paintbrush with amazing speed and anger, it scared me to the point I gave up the paintbrush, and had to give it an hour before I tried again, I think he was just letting know who was boss!! I will never be complacent with them again!! | |
