tarantula in worrying molt Empty
PostSubject: tarantula in worrying molt   tarantula in worrying molt EmptyFri 09 Jul 2010, 7:12 am

hi, i have had my mexican redknee (female) for approx two years and during that time she has molted five times. each time she has molted within a day with no problems.

This time she has spun her silk mat and is in the molt position on it, but has been that way now for five days! without any signs of casting her 'exoskeleton'?

she is alive as i saw her legs move (slightly) earlier today but nothing since.

Her enclosure is humid and warm as it has always been.

What do i do? just leave her and let nature take its course?

is she in difficulty and could i be doing anything at all for her?

The thought of losing her is too much

any advice at all would be very much appreciated.
