After a long search that resulted in me not finding a male, I originally decided to just stop looking for one once Madamwlf purchased one, thinking I might be able to get him on a loan once he matured. My female then decided to molt, which made me start searching again. I again wasn't able to find any male, not to mention a MM.
So then a couple weeks ago I got a PM on AB from someone telling me they were going to have someone PM me because they had a MM vonworthi and they knew I was looking so they were sending him in my direction. So they did get into contact with me, and they were originally listing it as a H. longpipes. The person who contacted me on AB was going to buy it as longpipes, but a photo proved that it was in fact H. vonworthi.
The person with the T had no intrest in breeding him, and wasn't looking to do a 50/50 because the male was very aggressive, which is common with this Sp, and furthermore didn't want all those slings. So I purchased him and had him shipped to me.
I gave him a couple days to calm down from shipping, and then shark tanked him with her for 4 days. On the third day I saw her come out of her burrow and they started tapping to each other, but next I knew she was back down her hole, I think she originally came out for water, the direction she was originally headed. I also almost NEVER see her out even at 3am in the middle of the night.
So I gave it another day and decided to give him a shot and see what happens. Here's the pics of what went down....
Just took off the lid of the deli...
After a small tap from behind to help get things started...
ended up sitting like that for over an hour. I then decided to get him completely out of the deli cup, which resulted in him going out of her enclosure all together, and a 10 min chase in the tote to get him back in the deli.
This time I turned it upside down and waited for him to get all 8 feet on the ground before removing it.
I turned around to take a drink and when I look over to check I see this...
Anybody home?

This lasted for all of 10 seconds, then directly following, she did the classic hapolo booty rub and back down her hole she went, he feld, then turned around and rested by her hole, but no action after another 30 min and it was late, so I decided to make him get while it was good and give them both a rest.
