PostSubject: MAR Show Pick Ups   Sun 20 Sep 2009, 11:10 pm

Went to the Mid-Atlantic Reptile Show today and it wasn't bad, if you're heavily into snakes and lizards. There were a few Ts there and only one T dealer. I did pick up another Borneo Black sling which I can't get a pic of. It's burrowed. And I picked up a P. Striata, though only pokie at the show.

Anyone want to guess as to the sex of it????

I just went to my first one like last week, and it was all snakes, lizards, gecko's frogs ect. There was 2 people who were selling a bunch of T's but I think for someone else because they were both clueless. Another guy had some A. avics and some roseas, and a third guy had some roseas and 2 B. smithi's. I stole the 5" one off them, looks female to me too. And the 4th person had a large T. blondi and that was it.

Just going by the 1st pic alone I was going to say the P. Striata looks male(looks leggy) and the underside confirms. But congratz on the new babies!

That's what I was thinking too. There was only one T vendor at this show and they are usually pricey. My Borneo Black was cheaper then my first one and a bit bigger, so I'm happy with that.
