Okay, how do you get a Haplo species to burrow? I have that haplo vonwirthi but she hasn't burrowed yet. I was thinking of changing her cage. Maybe she considers her enclosure a big burrow. Can someone post a pic of their haplo set up? I know there are some out there. Smile

I just added the coco fiber to her KK and added in a water dish and put some moss around it to keep up the humidity, she did the rest. It didn't take mine long, but maybe she was grateful for having any amount of sub because I'd seen her at the LPS for several months and she lived in a deli cup with a small stick, no room to move at all. Yours just might need some time, my C. fasciatum still hasn't made a burrow yet either, but you could try to dig out one of the corners to give her a starting point, I've done it before with success.

I sure hope so. Maybe the KK is too small. She has something like 4" of substrate in it.

Mine is actually in the small KK and about 4" so she should be fine. I almost never see her, and it's usually just some legs sticking out.

That's fine with me. That's how my haplo albo is. Nothing but legs.

I do have a male showing up hopefully this week. Smile

my lugardi was the same....couldnt decide if he wanted to climb or burrow,

so I started a burrow for him, gave it a roof and covered that with moss,
withing a couple of days he had made the burrow deeper,
now all I see is his legs if I am lucky Smile
