Not that I'm aware of, probably a small nat or maybe even fruit flies. I had some of those flying around my room when I left a piece of apple sitting out that was meant to be roach food. In most feed stores they sell these things called fly strips, they come in little 1" rolls and you unroll them and tack them up and they catch all kinds of flying bugs and non-toxic.

Do they appear to be on the T? There are bad mites and good mites. I had some mites I didn't know what they were, so I got some H. miles mites and they eat other mites, I added them to the enclosures and no problems, I've also heard they work on small flies eating the maggots.

Probably have gnats and not mites. They will feast on dead or uneaten food. Ensure you are removing old bolus and any uneaten food. You will also get them from very damp substrates. If I notice they are coming from a particular set up I will move the T out into a new set and toss the old stuff. If that isn't an option you can remove the substrate and bake it or nuke it to help the kill the little buggers. Make sur eyou let it cool off before reuse. Not saying you won't just clarifying points.
