| I seen some videos of people saying they were good for handling. Guess it depends on the individual T. | |

| Yeah I looked on YouTube for a while today and saw a lot. Any other ideas on a species to use to teach children? | |

| Yeah, also avics will jump and that might scare the kids as well. Think G. rosea or something like that.
I was going to ask, what happened with your avic who lost lets, still alive by the sounds of it.

When I coaxed my girl out for the ICU today she was on my hand and JUMPED to the ICU container. Scared me half to death haha I knew they did it but I had never seen it before.

| I have one that is right at 3 inches. She's docile but has some mood swings. I personally would recommend a Chaco Golden Knee. I feel it is one of the most underrated species in the hobby. Very handleable and I have never had any of mine kick hairs or threat pose. Just my opinion. | |

| The most docile T I've ever seen was a Brazillian Black that they were using at a zoo for a demonstration. It was handled by tons of people and never showed any sign whatsoever of agressiveness. Beatiful deep black coloration too. Makes me want one. | |

| Are golden-knee's expensive?
& my avic is okay now. every other avic at the pet store molted, as did my friend's avic, which worries me because they came from the same sac.

Obviously it depends but I don't think they are expensive by any means. It depends on who you get them from and how big/small you are purchasing.

| Just some Ads from Aracnoboards:
Grammastola pulchripes- Chaco Golden Knee 3.5" Female $94 C/B Grammastola pulchripes- Chaco Golden Knee 3" Male $39 C/B Chaco Giant Golden Stripe(G. pulchripes)juv(1in)……….……..……(12@14.00ea)…………16.00 Grammostola aureostriata - Chaco Golden Knee - ¼” $10 - ½” $20
So they're not expensive unless you buy a small one but don't they take forever to grow?

| Instead of getting a curly, I think I might see if someone will trade me a 4gig iPod nano [the square one] for a really really really sweet b.smithi does that sound fair? | |
