| But, how long do I need to wait after a molt to pop a mealworm in my slings vial? My curly molted while I was gone and I already put one in there. Should I take it out and wait? | |

| I'd wait about a week after molting before feeding. Once the fangs turn black he's hardened up good. | |

| Well, slings will eat shortly after eating, I've had it happen a few times, and the first time I was freaking out thinking it would break a fang, but Ana told me not to worry and everything was fine.
I also agree on waiting a week and that they'll need another couple molts before they are ready for that new enclosure, but if they are 1", they should be rehoused in something bigger then those vials. But wait the week first and make sure they've had a meal before you rehouse them.

Haha. Yeah my sling seems to have no issues. I came in my room today and my Rosie was sitting at the top of her enclosure! She lifted her giant booty all the way up the glass. Her substrate is dry, is there any other reason she'd be up there?

| They just do that sometimes. Usually happens after changing substrates though. | |

| My rosies seem to enjoy sitting on top of their bark hides instead of inside them most of the time. | |

| Roseas are very weird indeed. My MM is "normal" my immature male was normal till it's last molt. It's been seen sticking it's butt right up into the air, shortly after the molt, haven't seen it lately, but I'm always catching it in pokie stance. | |

You could literally be seeing that for months lol. Seems when these guys get full they are amazingly efficient at using the energy.

| Where did you get that container? it looks so perfect for slings. Does the divider goes all the way up without spacing? I may have to get some of those. they look nice. | |

there aren't any spaces or anything in the divider. (: Sweet! I haven't checked out their pet section in a long time. I could set up my false widow spider and real black wididow side by side. Could get a few more for my T's.

| Yeah I really like the side by side thing. I just put some tape on the bottom so the mealworms wouldn't go down there and that was about it haha it's a great tank, I just wish my slings would molt once or twice so I could put them in there haha | |

| looks like one of them things for betta fish so you can have two side by side till one croaks from always trying to kill the one on the other side.
My BIG rosea female, who doesn't user her hide at all moved a bit of dirt around yesterday, thought she was digging a bowl to lay her sac, but no, just wanted some place to sit I guess, hasn't moved off it.

| my rosea has become strangely inactive, although she is dragging her behind around now so that there are furrows in her tank,
I wish she would do something she has been gravid for 11 months now, she will be molting before long....and the whole process will have to start again.
they really teach you the art of patience dont they!!!!

| I just bought a set up like mandi's for my black widow and false widow. I'll get pics up as soon as they get webs up. Will get some feeding shots then. They air slots are kind of big on the lid but can be taped off easilly. I don't think my widow was small enough to fit through but I was like better safe than sorry. | |
