but it looks bad to me.
my avic lost a leg, its sitting on the bottom of the enclosure curled up
and her legs look really swollen at the bottom
ive never seen this before

how did it loose a leg? if there is fluids still leaking, try liquid bandage!

there's no fluid from what I can see
he's missing his left front leg

and I have absolutely no idea how he lost it, I don't go in there really except to mist it and hes not ever near where the lid of the cage goes on it so it didnt get caught in there

i just glanced in there and saw his little leg in there at the bottom :[

I don't see any swelling, but as long as the body isn't leaking any fluid I'd say she should be ok. Make sure she has fresh water, and if she starts to look worse, but her into ICU with a water dish. In a couple molts, she will get the leg back.

his front 3 legs [that are left] and his feelers [i dont know the official name off the top of my head] are all swollen at the bottom joint

now hes just chillin on the side of his cage
i saw him drink some water which is goood

It seems the legs are getting infected by something here possibbly. Have you moved to ICU? That's all I know to tell you really? I have never heard of this. You will want to kepp away from your other collection as you wouldn't want this to spread. I wish you the best of luck mandi. That's really all I know.

you know swelling is impossible for T's.... they have exo-skeletons.. So having a tarantula with a swollen legs is like a swollen bone.

but i dont think it needs an ICU since there is no problem! the leg (or where is was) is sealed now so there is nothing to worry about. the leg with grow back.. but i dont think before he matures so he may not be a good breeder
