New Ball Python Empty
PostSubject: New Ball Python   New Ball Python EmptyThu 16 Jul 2009, 2:52 am

Last night I decided to take a few quick pictures of my new male BP. My lighting is poor, and the camera doesn't really catch how yellow this little one really is. I wish I had bought the other one I was looking at a few days before, it wasn't a normal morph, but was hoping Dan would find me one at the expo. And of course when I went back to the LPS it was gone Sad . But I just couldn't resist this little cutie....

It's a boy. My female is about twice as big, and in shed right now.

Yeah, and I think it's on its way to shed, so I'm sure it's a bit dull from that. The belly is more yellow then what is showing, and I'm not sure if it's just me, or if it's showing a bit of pink too or not.

Yep, just a bit under weight, but again a LPS buy. I tried to give it a f/t fuzzy mouse, but it didn't touch it, left it in with him for several hours and nothing. I'm thinking it needs more time to settle into it's new home. I got 3 fuzzies and one hopper mouse, since I wasn't sure the of the sizes since they were in colored plastic bags I wasn't able to open without breaking the seal. I'll give it another day or two and try again, by the time it gets done with the mice, I'll be able to get rat babies for it.
