Hanging Molt

Anyone ever have the experience of seeing a tarantula molt hanging upside down from the top of its hide?

Species: Chaco Golden Knee

i dont mean to sound like a downer but i have no idea what im looking at

I have never seen a molt anywhere besides in the ground squished up however.

Well her pics are taken with a cell phone, so you gotta give some slack franklin sheesh. Plus I'm pretty sure she means that the T is hanging upside down in it's hide and is molting. Of which I've never seen. My vagans are all molting, and I've noticed that most of them put down webbing and sit on it, and molt that way ( kinda like if they were up against the wall), instead of laying on it on their backs.

very odd that is.... all of mine have molted the 'normal' way, except the alboreals....and who knows with them,

Yay for acrobat tarantulas! If you look closely, you can see it attached to the top of the hide, the giant white blob is the tarantula coming out onto the ground. It molted very quickly too. About 20 minutes start to finish. Thankfully it wasnt far off the ground. As it was finishing it was laying on a mat of web.

Nice! Very odd position though. It's sad I couldn't see my OBT molting though. Awesome suprises with molting...Isn't it amazing.
