| I got a phormictopus sling from Ana a few weeks ago and about 4 days ago I noticed it was going into premolt, Well this morning when I checked on it, it had molted, and still on it's back. I waited for it to flip and move away from the molt, and I checked the molt and it was 1.5", looks to be 2" now. I checked the molt, but being so tiny, trying to hold tweezers to hold the molt open, a flashlight to see in there, and a magnifying glass to help me see anything, It looked male to be from molt, but when I looked at the sling, it looked female. There maybe a flap on the molt, I'm not sure, it was very hard to tell, and I need another pair of hands. I guess I'll just have to wait for a few more molts to be more sure I guess. I tried to get pics, but my camera's macro just isn't cutting it. I did get a couple pics of the T right after molting, and I'll try again taking some of the molt. I'll get them up here soon. | |

| They are very pretty, and very purple, although now it looks a nice shade of blue that it's molted. Can't wait for it to harden a couple days and see the color then. | |

| Turns out this guy wasn't the only one to molt. I have 32 B. Vagan slings, mostly .5" and they are starting to molt out into 1" slings now. I've had about 7 molt so far. So did my A. versicolor, been wondering when that one was gonna molt. Also one of my larger B. vagan slings molted, looks like it went from 2" to 3". It really grew | |
