| Okay Shelby, here is the best I could get for now.  Will get better shots when I have them out in their new play area: Sophie:   Sasha:   Home Sweet Home:  I will be picking up a male tomorrow. Feeders just cost way too darn much. Question Shelby, How do you get a rat to stop biting? Sophie is a biter and didn't know if there was a way to stop it. | |

| Awwwww they are soo cute! Beautiful colors. Love the cage  As for the biting, really, the only thing you can do is handle her everyday, and when she bites, don't put her back. Because if when she bites, and you put her down, she knows that biting gets her what she wants. | |

| Very tasty looking rats lol. I found out with a ferret that would bite a way to stop them from biting. Take apple cider vinegar and put it on your hands/arms if in short sleeves and when they bite they will get the bad taste and stop after some time of doing this. | |

| I love Sophie! She is adorable!
Makes me want more Rats.
Also for biting, like Shelby said don't put them down or put them away.
I read somebody on a Rat forum recommended saying "Ow" in a high pitched voice lol Then of course saying no in a stern voice.
I have never had problems with biting before. Only been bit once by a pet rat and all I did was Say no.
(however I have been bit by one of our breeders who doesn't care what you say lol) | |

| What is that for the play area? A kiddy pool? I need to get something for my rats playtime.... they just play on my bed, and im getting tired of changing and washing my sheets every night lol | |
